| Journal database | Maintained by the Library of Instituto Evandro Chagas (IEC), the Base is designed to expand the coverage of the dissemination of knowledge produced in the area of health surveillance to give greater visibility, and dynamic access to technical and scientific production developed in the context of public health Brazil. For the structuring of this collection the IEC has a partnership with the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information (BIREME), which gave the methodology - Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) - electronic publishing model - periodically - for countries under development. Journals Portal today has eight titles: Bulletin of Sanitary Pneumology; Bulletin of the Goeldi Museum Sciences, Bulletin of the Goeldi Museum Natural Sciences, Epidemiology and Health Services, Epidemiological Report of the SUS, the Brazilian Journal of Pulmonology Health; Magazine Pan-Amazon Health and Para Medical Journal, may, as far as the process moves forward, new titles will be entered into the collection. | |
about this site | The purpose of this site is to implement an electronic library that can provide broad access to the collections of all the magazines, with their respective issues, as well as the full text of articles. The access to both titles as the items can be done through indexes and search forms. The site is part of the VHL / SVS / IEC, for the Portal of Electronic Information Sources and is a product of the application of the methodology for preparation of electronic publications in development, particularly the Internet Interface module was developed in partnership between IEC and BIREME. This site is constantly updated both in its form as in content, according to the progress and results of the project. | |
